The ProBio Media:

ProBio Media is a unique porous nanoceramic with an exceptionally high surface area that supports an immense amount of beneficial bacteria colonies. Its >80% porosity allows water to flow through, delivering nutrients to the growing bacteria. Flow through the media carries these microbes into the water column, bringing them to marine creatures like fish or shrimp. These colonies help to create healthy and balanced water for marine creatures by speeding up nature’s way of removing waste products from water without chemicals. ProBio Media is used to maintain a high microbial population in the water.
